Producing Ohio Wins "Classic" Telly Award
CET's Producing Ohio has won a Gold Award, or "Classic Telly," in the 25th
Anniversary Classic Telly Awards, a showcase for recognizing outstanding
non-network film, video and commercial productions.
Entries for the 25th Anniversary Tellys were judged against a high
standard of excellence rather than against each other, and the winners
came from an international cross-section of agencies, production
companies, television stations, corporate video departments and cable
operations.
Created through a collaboration of CET and Economics Center for Education
& Research, Producing Ohio is an interactive multimedia curriculum that
helps students in fifth and sixth grades learn more about economics and
prepare for Ohio diagnostic and achievement testing. The project was
funded by a grant from Ohio Educational Telecommunications Network
Commission.
Producing Ohio is 2002 Telly Award Finalist
CET's Producing Ohio is a finalist in the 24th Annual Telly Awards,
bringing the project a bronze Telly statuette for its excellence in video
production.
The national Telly Awards competition is a showcase for recognizing
outstanding non-network film, video and commercial productions. Entries
are judged against a high standard of excellence rather than against each
other. Winners (silver statuette) and finalists (bronze statuette) come
from an international cross-section of agencies, production companies,
television stations, corporate video departments and cable operations.

Producing Ohio Wins 2002 Crystal Award
CET's Producing Ohio has won the 2002 Crystal Award for K-12 Instructional Multimedia, presented by the Association for Educational Communications and Technology (AECT) on November 14 during AECT's conference in Dallas.
The Crystal Award recognizes the most innovative and outstanding multimedia-based projects each year. To be eligible, projects must exhibit innovative and creative use of the medium, instructional value and relevance, instructional strategy, quality of production, evidence of successful utilization and implementation, and evidence of achievement of goals and objectives
