The Ohio Council on Economic Education (OCEE) and its nine university-based affiliate centers work to promote and increase economic education understanding among the citizens of Ohio, primarily by assisting schools and teachers to develop the ability of students to make reasoned economic choices and understand the world around them.

OCEE's mission is to ensure that economics becomes a part of the core education of every student in Ohio, to improve the quality and quantity of economic instruction in the classroom, and to increase public awareness and support for economic education and financial literacy.
