The Southwest Local School District

The Southwest Local School District is a business that produces education services (reading, writing, science, math, etc.) to more than 4,000 students in Hamilton County, Ohio. When a school district provides these services, they must have many of the same resources as other businesses need to produce goods and services. Administrators for the district purchase land, labor and capital resources and make entrepreneurial decisions so that students can go about their daily work, which is learning. This will also prepare students for their future education, work, citizenship - nearly every aspect of their lives.
