The Chicago Board of Trade is a futures exchange where contracts are bought and sold. The website contains information on market prices. Also check out the CBOT FAQ which describes why we as consumers need a futures market.
The Ohio Agricultural Statistics Service (OASS) is the main agricultural data gathering agency in the state with the purpose of collecting, compiling and providing current statistics. Primarily OASS provides agricultural commodity producers with information to assist them in making production and marketing decisions.

The National Corn Growers Association (NCGA) is the largest trade organization in the U.S. that represents U.S. corn growers. The "Education" area of their site features web-based curriculum: Raising Corn and Using Corn.
Our other partner in this project, for this unit, is the Ohio Corn Marketing Program. Their website features state corn statistics, corn usage, the history of corn and three groups of Elementary Activities in their Education area. Teachers can also find a guide to these activities at that location.
Food and Agricultures of the World is presented by the Agropolis-Museum, which is a Science Center dealing with topics such as food, nutrition, agriculture, with an historical approach on a worldwide scale.
