Lesson Correlations
Producing Ohio: Creating Our Economy is designed to help teachers infuse key economic concepts into activities and projects for students with two goals in mind: to give them the tools they need to learn concepts covered in the Ohio Academic Content Standards goals as well as to prepare them to become consumers and producers who make informed decisions throughout their lives.
We have created two charts for educators. The first one presents correlations to the new Ohio Social Studies Academic Standard Benchmarks in Economics for grades 5-8 for Producing Ohio lessons and videos. Following this information is the full text of the Academic Content Standards for Economics. To view the complete version of Social Studies Content Standards, visit the Ohio Department of Education website.
The second chart shows correlations to the Ohio Learning Outcomes for grade 6 for the Producing Ohio lessons and for the videos. Following that chart is the full text of the Learning Outcomes for grade six.
